Important Notes - Bring your running shoes everyday!!! We will be doing dryland everyday unless other wise instructed by your coach. We will be running everyday in April to work on cardiovascular conditioning. Beginning in May we will be changing the dryland program about every 3 weeks, your coach will be instructing you to which dryland exercises we will be doing.

Meet Procedures
Here is the following for all meets we will be attending the rest of this season: On the first day of the meet we wear the Black shirts, on the second day of the meet we wear the White shirts, on the third day of the meet we wear the Red shirts. We will wear the Red caps for all timed final meets. If the meet is a prelim/final meet, you wear the color of shirt of the day in the prelim session and Black shirts with Black Championship Caps for the finals sessions. Please arrive at warmups 15 minutes prior to the scheduled warmup time for stretching. If it is an outdoor meet, please stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids and staying out of the sun! If it is longer than 30 minutes between swims, you may need to warm up slightly, check with your coach if you have any questions. After each swim, if you have time PLEASE WARM DOWN!
Warming Down Procedures
For Senior level swimmers, please warm down immediately after your race, then go and see your coach about your swim. Warm down as follows for events:

If your name is not on the list then you are only asked to attend the regular scheduled practices during the school and summer practices. If you miss a main practice session then you are encouraged to come to a morning (school time) or an afternoon(summer time) for a makeup practice.
Attached is a copy of the State Qualifying times. We will train thru some meets (1st Bolles, BYST distance meet, GI short course meet, 2nd Bolles/ATAC meet) we are doing this in order to go faster in preparation for the State Meets. We will focus on BYST meet, and SST meet and possibly Bolles/ATAC meet (if needed) for going fast and getting times. We are focusing on these meets because of the length of time in between them.
